Super Refined™ L18 POG

Super Refined™ L18 POG is a high purity mixture of mono-, di-, and triesters of glycerol, and mono- and diesters of polyethylene glycols, with the predominant fatty acid concentration stemming from linoleic acid. It is a low HLB emulsifier and solubiliser of poorly water soluble Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s). It also exhibits emolliency, humectancy, and skin penetration enhancement properties. Additionally, it can be used as a primary or secondary emulsifier in self emulsifying drug delivery system (SEDDS) or self microemulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS) formulations. Super Refined™ L18 POG also has a very low impurity profile, which ultimately improves its shelf life over competitor products. This includes reductions in problematic impurities like aldehydes, acids, and free polyethylene glycol.
