Super Refined™ Cottonseed

Cottonseed-derived triglyceride that has been purified to yield a water-white, odourless, neutral non-polar lipid with a low peroxide value. The proprietary Super Refining process removes impurities without altering the chemical composition of the excipient. This reduces the potential for adverse interactions between the excipient and the API, enhancing active stability and efficacy. Super Refined Cottonseed NF finds application as a solvent and vehicle for injections, as an emollient vehicle for other medications and orally as a mild cathartic. It can be used as a tablet binder and in the production of oral pharmaceutical powders. Also available as a grade that contains no preservative.
