Tween™ 20 HP LSA

Saturated free fatty acids have been associated with the formation of visible and sub-visible particles in cases where hydrolytic degradation of polysorbate 20 occurs. Tween™ 20 HP LSA is a highly purified polysorbate 20 that has been designed to provide functional equivalence as a surfactant whilst reducing the associated risk of visible and sub-visible particle formation in protein formulations. This has been achieved through a very highly controlled fatty acid distribution with lower content of long chain saturated fatty acids.
